Abstract


The increase in the number of motorcycle users in Indonesia ranks first, this is directly proportional to the increase in student motorcycles. However, the parking lot used does not yet have a parking information system. This research is the design of a motorcycle parking information system using PLC in real-time by utilizing non-contact features as an effort to suppress the spread of COVID-19. The following are the results of tests that have been carried out using 26 respondents, power supplies with two categories (with load and without load) both of which were successful; The MSR-90 sensor successfully reads the student ID card; ultrasonic sensor with 5 successful categories; MLX90614 sensor to read body temperature successfully used; The 20x4 LCD can successfully accommodate as many as 20 characters in 4 lines; infrared sensor E18-D80NK managed to see the level of accuracy; motor drivers with categories clockwise and not all of them work; limit switch this test was successfully carried out; Testing the LED indicator as information on the availability of parking spaces was successfully carried out. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that all the tests were successful, and the tool can be used properly.
