Technological developments have developed rapidly along with the development of more advanced and modern times. And its development can be used in various fields, one of which is in the field of education. In the field of education, counseling guidance institutions (BK) in schools play a role in the process of forming students' personalities and directing students to be better at honing students' abilities in the academic field. This role can be effective if guidance and counseling is supported by a better computerized system in schools. The field of counseling guidance at SMK Amal Bakti Jatimulyo as an agency that deals directly with students related to student discipline requires a computerized-based information system to process data. This is done because the BK field of SMK Amal Bakti Jatimulyo has not utilized the computer system in carrying out its work activities, while information processing is carried out at any time to obtain the required reports.

This shows that the manual information system is less informative and accurate. Based on this, the authors build a counseling guidance information system using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter Framework which can run on various platforms operating system, while the database used is MySql. It is expected to meet the criteria as an information system that is relevant, accurate and timely.
