Abstract


With the development of the times and increasingly rapid technological developments as well as the increasing number of motorcycle vehicles from year to year, it does not increase with a motorcycle security system that is capable, making it easier for irresponsible people to break into motor vehicle contacts. the perpetrators of these crimes of roberry also do not hesitate to injure or even kill victims. Therefore, it is urgently needed an automatic and reliable motorcycle security system by utilizing advanced technology using internet of things (IoT) principles and an ESP8266-based microcontroller which is added with a GPS module to track the location of the vehicle and a website as an interface in order to find out the location data of vehicles. motorcycle even though the thief has broken into the motorcycle vehicle lock. the motorcycle will still not start because of the security system that designed a lock device that functions as an additional key as well as the system itself if you want to activate the motorcycle vehicle. if there is a robbery on the road, the key device that is far from the vehicle will be disconnected from the database server resulting in the security system installed on the motorcycle will turn off the vehicle. It is hoped that the creation of a motorcycle security system can reduce the crime of theft and roberry of motorcycles.
