Abstract

Dina Amelia1, Rachel Adacia Yollanda2

In article 1 paragraph (7) of PERMA number 3 of 2017 concerning guidelines for prosecuting women in conflict with the law, it is stated that gender stereotypes are general perspectives or perceptions of attributes or characteristics that should be owned or played by a man or woman. However, stereotypes can be dangerous when they limit the capacity of men and women to develop their individual abilities, pursue professional careers, and make decisions in life. Stereotypes will also become a serious problem in society if they are used to demean and discriminate against women. In order to achieve the desired goal, this study uses the Scaffolding concept from Vygotsky's theory. This theory has 5 indicators, namely: intentionality, appropriateness, structure and internalization. The researchers used pretest and posttest methods. There are several stages carried out by researchers, the first is the stage of determining participants (purposive sampling). The second stage is the stage of data collection which consists of observation, determining teaching strategies, giving a pretest, applying scaffolding, observing, and giving a posttest. The third stage is the analysis stage which includes analyzing the data, discussing the results, and drawing conclusions. The fourth stage is the reporting stage.
