Webtoon exists as a new digital form of literary work nowadays. It conveys messages of stories through story boards presented by the author. One of popular webtoon story is True Beauty which tells about beauty privilege. This paper is aimed to see the social perspectives of beauty standard in a particular society based on True Beauty story. The questions raised in this study are 1.) What are the beauty standards set in the story? and 2.) How does becoming beautiful impact society? To answer the questions, the researcher uses sociological approach. The result shows that the society in the story True Beauty put the beauty standard on physical appearance, personality, or  both. For Korean people, pretty is when someone has a big eye, pale skin, long legs, and monoloid eyes. Being beautiful gives someone societal advantage. People are  likely to treat kindly.
