Abstract

Indonesia is now in the Industry 4.0 era in which technology has shifted the way people do their activities, including in the field of education. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge or TPACK is developed as the framework to integrate technology with teaching. In the light of the important role of teachers to implement technology in teaching and learning process, this study was conducted to gain in-service English teachers’ perspectives on technology integration through TPACK-EFL framework and the implementation of their technological content knowledge in their lesson plans. The finding showed that the teachers who acknowledged the importance of technology were those who included the use of technology in their lesson plans. This finding suggests the need to provide the in-service English teachers with technology they can apply in their teaching to help them keep up with the rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
