Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of resistance bands on the results of backhand and smash on Pb. Patriot Yosomulyo Metro And to find out how big the influence of Resistance bands on Backhand and Smash Results on Pb. Patriot Yosomulyo Metro. This study uses descriptive statistical quantitative methods. The subjects used in this study were Pb. Patriot Yosomulyo Metro. In this study, the researchers made 1 group, namely the experimental group, the pretest was carried out before the posttest was given after the treatment was given. Thus the player gets the results from the Pre-Test and Post-test obtained on the Test Instrument, namely: Backhand Skills The average value of the initial test is 33.40 and the average value of the final test is 59.10. The amount of increase in backhand accuracy is 514 points or 23% . And Smash skills The average value of the initial test is 8.40 and the average value of the final test is 14.05. The magnitude of the increase in the accuracy of Smash is 113 points or 5%. The results of the normality test obtained the Kolmogrov-Smirnov significance value on the pretest-posttest Backhand PB players. Patriot of 0.200>0.005 (significant). And the problem is 0.200>0.05 (significant). And for the homogeneity test, the significance value of the research data is Backhand of 0.057> 0.05 and for Smash 0.211> 0.05 (homogeneous). From the sample T test, it is known that the significance is Backhand 0.000 <0.05 and Smash 0.000 <0.05. So the conclusion is that there are significant differences in learning outcomes before being given treatment and after treatment using resistance bands
