Abstract
This pandemic era requires people to conduct the learning process throughonline learning. The courses that have been taught face to face now had to be conducted by online learning with various digital platforms. Zoom platform has been used to facilitate the teaching and learning process. This study purposes to explore the students' views toward online learning through a synchronous technique using the Zoom platform in the tenth grade of SMK N 1 Bandar Lampung.This study used a qualitative research design. The researcher collected the data through questionnaires and interviews. The participants of this research were tenth students of SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung majoring in Animation class consisting 32 students. The technique of data and data sources used by the researcher in this research is the purposive sampling in which participants are purposefully chosen to be investigated.The findings of this study showed that the Zoom platform has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of Zoom platform which get the highest mean score were Zoom platform is a useful platform. While the disadvantage of Zoom platformwhich gets the highest mean score was Zoom platform makes the students spend a lot of money to buy internet quotas to access. Moreover, the students’ views of the use of the Zoom platform in English class that got the highest mean score showed that the use of Zoom platform in English class is closely resembled to face-to-face class.
