Abstract
In the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka, project-based learning is a method that is utilized in the classroom. In order to maximize it, technology is linked with students’ everyday life problems in accomplishing the project during the teaching and learning processes. Based on a preliminary study that has been conducted at D3 Accounting Study Program of State Polytechnic of Banjarmasin, there is not any e-module with project-based learning. Therefore, employing a research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model, this study aimed to develop an electronic module (E-module) of English for Accounting as a supplementary material. The development steps were analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. The instruments used in this study were a questionnaire and interview on the needs analysis and a questionnaire on the tryout. The data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Then, the product was developed. It was validated by two validators, one is an expert in English Language Teaching particularly English for Specific Purposes and the other one is an expert in Accounting field. The product was then revised, tried out, revised again, and evaluated. This e-module is expected to assist Accounting Department students to study and level up their English mastery through project-based language learning method in an engaging, meaningful, and collaborative learning.
