Abstract

Students of the Education department are called pre-service teachers as they are trained and learned to be the future professional teachers. During their study, they learn various theories such as Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, Didactic of a specific subject, Educational management etc. They are also required to conduct a teaching practicum in their third year of study to complete their study and get their degree. This study is an attempt to explore the pre-services' voice on their teaching practicum. Involving 45 participants who have accomplished the practicum at secondary schools in Lampung province, the likert-scale questionnaire was utilized to capture (1) the pre-services' teacher belief and attitude towards the teaching practicum; (2) their experience during practices; and (3) their perception on the stakeholders' roles and responsibilities. The result of this research may give implication to the teacher trainer institution, schools, and future teacher related to the implementation of teaching practicum and the teacher professionalism development.
