Abstract
During covid-19 pandemic, students must study in online learning. It is practically challenging for teaching children so they need to explore many things. Therefore, being an autonomous learner is crucially needed. One of the limitations of children in non-English speaking countries when learning this language is insufficient exposure to the standardized English-speaking environment. As a consequence, children often encounter issues such as: incorrect pronunciation, slow listening and speaking reflexes, etc. The role of technology like online learning application nowadays really helps teachers and students overcome this problem. This study is aimed to explore the use of language learning application named Monkey Stories to support their online class, especially in studying English. A descriptive study was conducted to eighteen children in one of private English course. The data gained from questioner and interview showed that monkey stories helps students learn English and especially improve their vocabulary and pronunciations. Moreover, because it can be accessed anywhere and anytime, students can always learn English whenever they want to. Thus, it really supports students’ online learning.
