Abstract
Technology has been part of human life including in education. One of the parts of technology is the YouTube application. Youtube can function as a medium in learning English. One of the functions is watching Upin Ipin English Version. Upin Ipin is a Cartoon movie that contains the moral value. This value is needed to empower the students' character in order to increase students' quality of politeness. Recently there are many bad news that shows crime from adolescents. This application is considered to appropriate as an English medium in learning English. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of students to study, analyze, and translate moral values contained in each episode of the Upin Ipin cartoon series. The research method taken is a qualitative method in which the ability of students to describe the value of moral tests. The result is for each episode serial cartoon Upin Ipin, 22 students were able to explain, 3 students were able to explain by example, and 6 students only explained the example of moral value.
