Abstract: The purpose of this research aimed to find the alternative of fun English learning using YouTube video during pandemic. This research was conducted at Pusat ma’hat Al- Jami’ah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Descriptive qualitative design was used to conduct this study so that the questioner was constructed as the instruments of the study. Besides, considering students’ pretest score and post test score is supporting data in this research. Questioner consists of asking students’ perspective from different level; basic, intermediate and advanced, on vocabulary development and grammatical understanding which are affected after watching video. The result of the study shows positive attitude of students’ understanding both vocabulary and structure of the sentences or even they can memorize idiom and daily expression as additional knowledge that students’ obtain.
