Abstract

Teachers can take advantage of technology in creating learning media. One of them is in the development of m-learning with an android smartphone. This media can be an alternative to conventional learning that is currently available. This study aims to develop a digital module accessed by mobile learning on an Android-based smartphone. The aspects seen are validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study uses a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The product validation was carried out with expert judgment from two material experts and a media expert. Practicality was measured in terms of ease of installation, operation, and content suitability based on student responses. Effectiveness was measured based on the level of increasing understanding of the material after students used this media. The results of this study indicate that the resulting product is valid (3.92 out of 4), practical (81.8 out of 100), effective (100% of students meet the completeness criteria). With this media, mathematics learning has the opportunity to be carried out with m-learning well.
