ANALYSIS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CHILDREN AGED 7-8 YEARS IN THE TIME OF ADAPTATION TO NEW HABITS

Abstract
This study aims to determine the physical activity of children aged 7-8 years during the adaptation period to new habits with indicators in the form of light physical activity that children can do. In the process of collecting data using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire in the form of a google form which is distributed through whatsapp media, so that data is obtained in the form of the percentage of physical activity in children aged 7-8 years in the adaptation period of new habits. The results that have been obtained are presented in a quantitative descriptive form with a population and sample of 37 parents who have children aged 7-8 years. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the most frequently done physical activity is helping parents' activities, which is as much as 88.9%. Then for the lowest physical activity, namely mopping the floor with a percentage of 24.3%. Furthermore, the number of percentages divided by 8 indicators of physical activity that is often done by children aged 7-8 years the average result of physical activity carried out is 59.55%, meaning that of 37 children only 22 children who do physical activities or exercise during the adaptation of new habits, The remaining 15 children did not or did less physical activity or sports. This of course should be a concern for parents, because one form of maintaining immunity and endurance is by doing physical activity and sports.
