Students’ Attitudes towards the Use of Animated Video in Blended Learning

Abstract


This study aims to describe the attitudes of students towards the use of video animation in blended learning. The subjects in this study were 28 students of Management Study Program, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. Based on the results of the study, students stated that through blended learning material becomes easier to understand. In addition, the subjects also stated that they could be actively involved in lectures, growing self-confidence and learning independence. Blended learning using the use of animated videos is said to make learning more interesting. More than  90% of students said they could better understand online learning material if there was tutor explaining the material in the video. According to the subjects, blended learning through the use of animated videos can increase learning motivation and develop students' creative thinking abilities.
