Abstract
ABSTRACT
Current trend in English language teaching is to use teaching method that leads students to learn English independently. Project-based Learning is one of the teaching methods that offers solution to help students learn English better. The researcher conducted research by implementing project-based Learning in English for businesss class in which all students are not coming from English study program. This research focused on identifying students’ attitude toward implementation of project-based learning in English for business class. Data were obtained from 40 respondents and collected through observation, questionnaire and interview. Those data were then analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that majority of the students had positive attitude toward project-based learning. They learnt English autonomously and they were challenged to accomplish the project. Students were also motivated to learn English since they had to look for some sources to accomplish their project. However, students agreed that the project given took time. A good time management should be the key point in implementing project-based learning.
